*11 places available (subject to funding)
*You will be the working crew - 3 Tectona staff will be onboard, no previous experience necessary. Sharon Herbert, Cognitive Hypnotherapist will provide support prior to sailing where requested.
REASONS WHY THIS MAY BE A CHALLENGE FOR YOU:
*You have to leave your cave
*You won't be able to isolate yourself
*You will be sharing limited space with others
*You have to commit to the week
*You will need to work as a team and consider the needs of each other/support each other and communicate
*You won't be able to have your person of 'safety' with you, such as partner and you'll be getting to know new people
*You may be outside your comfort zone
REASONS WHY YOU'LL LOVE IT:
*Escape from normal mundane life stuff
*Mental distraction from symptoms through activity/work
*Learn new skills, such as Navigation
*Informal peer support and a chance to spend time with others who understand and share symptoms/experiences
*Time away from modern life
*An opportunity to make new friends who 'get it'
*The Tectona is beautiful and full of character (built in 1928)
*If we're lucky we might see beautiful starry night skies and inspirational sunsets - hopefully some wildlife too
